aspects of a given product or web site
follow established usability principles,
known as heuristics. An expert review may be part of a larger evaluation of product or web site usability.
There are many flavors of heuristic reviews
including exhaustive, principled, and
scenario-based.
The review is best done by someone who
is well-versed in usability issues and has some familiarity with
the product domain.
