Customer-Centered TrainingDesign Technologies provides courses to support the transfer of usability technology and methods to our clients. Training can take place in a project setting, in an open enrollment course, or on-site for individuals and teams that are interested in using customer information to inform product design decisions. The critical initial phase of gathering customer data is highlighted, along with methods of competitive assessment, trade-off analysis, task analysis, alpha and beta testing, and product follow-up. Process mapping, group elicitation method, card sorts, and feature/cost tradeoff methods is the focus of the hands-on activities in this course.
