Customer-Centered Training Design Technologies provides courses to support the transfer of usability technology and methods to our clients. Training can take place in a project setting, in an open enrollment course, or on-site for individuals and teams that are interested in using customer information to inform product design decisions. Impacting Design with Customer Data Course This workshop presents 10 steps & methods to understanding customers. The critical initial phase of gathering customer data is highlighted, along with methods of competitive assessment, trade-off analysis, task analysis, alpha and beta testing, and product follow-up. Process mapping, group elicitation method, card sorts, and feature/cost tradeoff methods is the focus of the hands-on activities in this course. Examples, role playing, hands-on exercises, and discussion are used to supplement the presentations.
